It’s been two long years since the release of Pokemon Go. There was speculation and hype surrounding the game and it nearly delivered on everything that it said it would. But no one could have expected it to infect reality itself. The prevalence of cell phones and the love for what the Pokemon Company had created made it so easy-- so simple for one little glitch to jump from their world to ours.
No one was sure where it began, but most say it started with household pets. Kids and adults alike got outside far more than ever before, and they often brought their pets as companions for their adventures. After all, the family dog is probably the closest thing to a pokemon we ever had in our world. People would often find their pet bouncing in the screen along with the pokemon. Sometimes overlapping.
